♥ Malacca Trip (8 - 9 Aug 2010) ♥

I hope this will nt be a long entry...
shall try my best to summarize..

Went to Malacca with Double S.
Quite a last min decision, we decided on Thursday i guess?! and we proceed with the plan on Sunday.
Met up with Susan earli in the morning! About 6am!
The other 'S' was usual late...
we waited till 7am den she pop out, n she didnt brought her hp with her. cool..

Went to Tanjong Pagar as we plan to take train to Malaysia, BUT! the ticket is sold out.
Wat a day!
So we proceed to Golden Mile, after having breakfast at the railway st.

Finally we bought the coach ticket to Malacca! Which cost $25 per pax (one way)

Inside the coach:

Reach Malacca pretty fast! ard 3 hr plus...
n here we are! at the coach terminal!
we quickly board on a cab and head towards our hotel~

This is the cab we board, the cab driver is v friendly and helpful enough to share delicious food and good location for non local like us!

We reached the hotel! Heard from them that this is 2 star hotel according to the web?!

But it looks nice to me! i wun think dat this kind of standard is 2 star if nobody tells mi bout it.

The room is spacious enough for the 3 of us! and surprisingly there is a sofa! long enough to slp 2 person!
and the bathroom is clean too! =D
overall satisfied with the hotel!
We paid SGD 117 (cant rem for RM le)

After we get changed and put down our barang barang, it's shopping time and we head to JONKER STREET!
The cab fare once again cost us RM15 even though is short journey.

WOW! i like the place!
The culture and their stuffs seems much more 'traditional' den spore.
their pace is slower, can feel it.
Yet, not as slow as in Kukup lar.

The first stall we encountered:

Taste like normal siew mai, but its nice! can mix any 7 of the small snacks n cost ??? (i forgotten the price)

Next! this is one of my favourite of the Malacca trip!

Taste good n i realli like it lar~
i bought red plum flavour, Susan's de is Strawberry~
It comes with bit and pieces of real fruits!

Next, we continue to stroll, and took fotos with 红屋

A lot of trishaw along this street...v cool, their trishaw played de music is super LOUD AND "IN".

hahahah!

Den, we want to have A&W for lunch, so continue to walk.

Initially we thot Mahkota Parade shopping mall inside has A&W but we were wrong!

It's opposite the main entrance ;)

We've reached! i have huge craving for A&W~!!!

I nearli thot double S got kidnapped away while waitin them to buy food for 25mins or so.

Very kua zhang.

The queue dun seems dat long to mi, i am sure the staff is SLOW.

Anyway the meal is fantastic!!! =D

After meal, we shopped ard at the shopping mall n i bought myself 2 office top.

cheap like hell.

one is ard SGD$13 after converting the currency.

From here onwards, mi and susan begin to eat a lot....as if we didnt had A&W meal before this...

haha! but i like Malacca food! =)

古早味 carrot cake

I simply LOVES this durian puff! i am definitely not a durian lover, but this is damn nice!

Smooth filling which melts in yr mouth! i love it so much compare to AMK hub de puff...

Back to hotel, and we bathe and rest on the bed.

Suddenly saw Siao Ding Dong bought along 2 raw carrot for this trip..

is she rabbit or wat? whaha...anyway she put in the fridge and now she is eating the chill carrot..

i wanted to try too..so...after trying...find dat is crunchy n nice!

WTH. whahaha!

DAY 2

Had breakfast in the hotel...

its sumthing v similar with Tioman, Redang de food..guess Malaysia hotel/resort food is all the same type.

After breakfast, we intend to go ard and look for famous yong tau foo as per the cab driver's info...crazy right, after breakfast, wan to have yong tau foo..lol

but end up we fail to find the place, or shd i said, we found it, but the place is close.
